Arsenal and their city and league rivals Tottenham Hotspur could face a £42 million fee if they want to sign Lazio forward Joaquin Correa during the summer transfer window.
During the 2020-21 season, the 26-year-old forward scored 11 goals and added six assists in 38 appearances for his club, while also playing for Copa America champions Argentina this summer.
Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with a move for the winger, who has 30 goals and 18 assists in 117 appearances for Lazio since joining the White and Sky Blues from Sevilla in La Liga in 2018.
According to a recent rumor from Tuttomercatoweb, the Biancocelesti are willing to sell the sought-after South American attacker this summer for a fee of between £34 million and £42 million.
According to a previous rumor, Mikel Arteta’s side had made a £17 million transfer offer for Correa, but it had been rejected.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in signing the player, who has three years left on his current Serie A contract.
