Asuu Rejects Online Meeting With FG- Says Strike Must Continue
The proposed zoom (online meeting) between the executive members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government Ministry of Education, was abortive, few hours ago.
According to the information gathered by our outside Info crew, The meeting between these two bodies could not hold, as ASUU president insisted that, ASUU is not ready to have any form of online meeting over its demands, with the federal government.
According to him, the union refused such zoom meeting because, such meeting cannot yield any positive result when most of their physical meetings in the past ended in a stalemate.
He said the union is waiting for things to return to normal for a physical meeting to be possible.
Similarly, ASUU has also faulted the FG for not paying full February-March salaries of her members, even after FG promised to pay them complete.
Meanwhile, No date has been fixed for the physical meeting of these two funny bodies.
