Barcelona reject chance to re-sign midfielder
Barcelona have rejected the chance to re-sign Arthur Melo from Juventus, according to Sport.
However, they are still in talks to send Miralem Pjanic back to the Serie A giants.
Pjanic joined Barca as part of a swap deal that saw Arthur move to Juve.
Both players are understood to be open to a move back to their former clubs but Juventus are believed to be much more open to the move than Barça.
During negotiations with the Turin club, Arthur expressed his desire to re-join the club as part of the Pjanic deal.
However, the club has outrightly rejected the proposal.
Barcelona are not keen to bring back the Brazilian despite his willingness to accept a pay cut, because of his perceived lack of professionalism, poor injury record and lack of on-field impact during his time at the Camp Nou
