Bruno Fernandes equals Jesus’ record after Man United’s 1-1 draw
Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, on Sunday equalled Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus’ record for the most away games unbeaten at the start of a Premier League career with 26 games.
Fernandes equalled Jesus’ record after featuring in Man United’s Premier League 1-1 draw against Southampton on Sunday afternoon.
The Portugal international failed to score for Man United against Southampton as Mason Greenwood’s second-half goal cancelled out Fred’s first-half own-goal at St Mary’s.
Fernandes was impressive for the Red Devils against Leeds United in the Premier League last weekend.
The 26-year-old scored a hat-trick against Leeds United at Old Trafford.
Fernandes will now hope to lead Man United to victory when they take on Wolves in their next Premier League fixture on August 29.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have taken four points from their first two Premier League matches and are currently in fourth position on the Premier League table.
