In recognition of the outstanding work on behalf of the Acquirer, the transaction won the IFLR Restructuring Deal of the Year Award at the IFLR Africa Awards 2020, held in October 2020. In April 2021, he was included in the year 2021 WhoisWho Legal Nominations List for M&A and Governance and Capital Markets in Nigeria.
Mr. Mayowa is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is a Member of the Employment and Labour Lawyers Association of Nigeria; and a Securities and Exchange Commission-accredited capital market consultant, authorised to discharge the functions of a Compliance Officer.
