See Why Napoli Want to extend Osimhen’s contract to 2027
Italian giants Napoli are set to keep the Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhem till 2027 with another two-year contract.
Top Italian transfer expert, Paolo Bargiggia disclosed this in an interview with casanapoli.net
Osimhen is wanted by several top clubs in Europe, most notably, English Premier League side Tottenham. But he has stated in clear terms that he has no plans to leave Napoli and is looking forward to working with the club’s new manager, Luciano Spalletti.
Bargiggia said that Tottenham can as well look elsewhere for another striker with Osimhen determined to see through his current contract at the Naples-based club which runs out at the end of June 2025.
He then confirmed that Napoli owner, Aurelio Di Laurentiis, is looking to extend the player’s contract by an additional two years which, if signed, will see the 22-year-old staying at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium until the summer of 2027.
He further disclosed that the contract formalities will be concluded at the end of the transfer window as part of the club’s resolve to wade off suitors. The transfer expert also revealed that the renewal will come with an extra one million euros bonus to encourage the youngster to give his best to the club.
“The contract extension operation will be completed at the end of the market and it will be for at least two years. Victor has an important contract, and the renewal for one million euros more is to encourage him to do even better,” Bargiggia was quoted as saying by 1 Station Radio.

Osimhen has been tipped as the most suitable replacement for England captain Harry Kane who is likely to leave Tottenham and join Manchester City in the current transfer window, barring any last-minute twists.
